Recently Nick Diaz threw his promoter hat in the ring. The first event took place on June 22nd in at The Stockton Arena in Diaz's hometown of Stockton, CA. Jim Cooley was named the voice of WAR two weeks prior to the debut event. It was a great night of fights and a wonderful effort by the entire Nick Diaz Promotions team. Jim Cooley is now the permanent Ring Announcer for WAR! We look forward to the next event.

NICK KOHRING IS THE NEW IFC NORCAL MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION!
Cesar Gracie protoge, Nick Khoring needed just 42 seconds to defeat Richard Blake of Yuba City to win the IFC NorCal MW Championship. The fight took place this past weekend at Warriors Challenge 31 in Oroville, CA. Congratulations to Nick!
Also we saw the emergence of a possible contender to Kohrings title in young Chris Magnani. Magnani also one his fight in the first round, opening up a nasty cut on his much larger opponent. These two could clash in the near future.
